Gizmodo RSSYesterday my youngest received his early birthday present – the Nintendo 3DS. It’s his Christmas present too with a price of $250. So far it’s a hit at my house. So far we took 3D photos, set up Mii characters, played an augmented reality game with our photos called Face Raiders, and set up the WiFi. There are still more features to unleash. As I set up the parental controls, I wondered how many parents will read the health and safety warnings. It’s recommended that kids take 10 min breaks every 30 min while in 3D mode. The recommendation is 10 min breaks every 60 min for standard game play.
Loving that Steve Jobs was well enough to present the iPad 2 yesterday. It’s 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter with front and rear cameras. Great for my augmented reality testing. The arrival date is March 11th at a $499 price point.
